Title

"The Cyber Security Social Contract Policy Recommendations" for the Obama Administration and 11th Congress

Description

The Internet Security Alliance (ISA) strongly urges the incoming Administration and Congress to consider change in four major areas of cyber security. Critical infrastructure protection is a major priority, along with changing the current cybersecurity orientation. The ISA does not view cybersecurity as just a technological or "IT" issue; it is a risk management issue. Further, a better understanding between government and industry is imperative to securing the United States.

The ISA recommends similar suggestions as other policy reports. Most policy documents suggest that the government and industry collaborate together. Collaboration is the only way the United States' government, military and critical infrastructure can be fully protected.

The Journalism Directory includes the Policy Collection, so other policies and recommendations can be seen there.
