Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2009

This bill was introduced to the House November 7, 2009. It lays out requirements for research objectivies, authorizes grants and describes short and long term cybersecurity plans.This bill aims to increase cybersecurity research and grants. This bill shows that the United States is dedicated to researching cybersecurity. Jim Lewis (researcher at CSIS) is a main advocate for promoting cyber education. His policy suggestions may become law if this bill is passed.
