The CNCI consists of a number of mutually reinforcing initiatives to President Obama's Cyberspace Policy Review with major goals designed to help secure the United States in cyberspace. It also provides funding for federal law, intelligence and defense in order to strengthen the foundations of the Government.
The CNCI aims to establish a partnership with state, local and tribal governments, as well as private sector partners. It also emphasizes the importance of providing more resources toward education. Many policy reviews and recommendation reports highlight these two needs (partners and education). So, the CNCI is compatible with dominant cybersecurity plans.
The CNCI is used in the Policymaker Directory and Journalism Directory. Being informed of new policy ideas is imperative to improve future policies.
